Blade length : 53.8cm or 2.18 inches.
Sori : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.85cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.63cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period
Shape : Osuriage mumei with bohi engraved at both sides.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is dark piece.
Hamon : Nie structure gunome midare with same hight hamon.

Special feature : From the hamon, the katana is most likely Echizen Shinto Kanbun piece.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Shakudo nanakoji with gold covered around the rim.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo nanakoji with shi-shi dog engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black roiro sya
Menuki : Shi-shi dog. It is solid gold.
Kozuka : Shakudo nanakoji with gunpai gan and kabuto design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kogatana : The signature is written Kunihira-saku.
