Shape : Slim blade with firm Hamachi.
Jitetsu : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinori attach. Chikei appear on surface of the blade.
Hamon : Nie-deki Choji-midare Ashi working well. Boshi Midarekomi style.

Special feature : Miyamoto Kanenori forged this unsigned Katana. He was born in Hoki province, present Tottori prefecture in 1830. Kanenori learned under Yokoyama Sukekane in Bizen province at the age of 22. After seven years of training, Sukekane returned and served a chief retainer of a feudal lord. Sukekane went to Kyoto and started forging sword around Sanjo area in 1863. In 1866, he forged a sword for the Emperor Komei by the order of prince Arisukawa. After the Meiji Restoration, Kanenori forged sword for the emperpr Meiji near the Fushimi-Inari around Kyoto area. In 1886, accepting the order to dedicate tachi for the Ise-Jingu shrine, Kanenori moved to Tokyo and forged it in the Yasukuni shrine. He forged swords for successive generations emperors; the Emperor Meiji, the Emperor Taisho and the Emperor Showa and Imperial princes.
Both Miyamoto Kanenori and Gassan sadakazu were appointed Teishitsu-Gigeiin in 1906. Kanenori passed away in 1926 at the age of 97.
