Signature : Sosyu Jyu I Daijyo Tsunahiro. 5th generation.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 54.1 cm or 21.2 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.90 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.08 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Manji era.
Shape : The blade is regular size and longer kissaki.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with Jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based and gunome midair mixed with sunagashi and Kinsuji work. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : Sosyu school started from Late Kamakura period to late Edo period.
Masamune is well known sword maker and continued this school to Edo period.
Akihiro and Hiromitsu are also succeeded this school but they made Hitatsura hamon.
This school's Hamon and Jigane influenced many sword makers for instance Shimada school.
This blade is engraved Sosyu Jyu E Daijyo Tsunahirro not Ise.
The signature is 100% genuine.
He didn't mentioned Ise which is rare item.
The sword is typical sosyu school's jigane and hamon.
