The blade was polished.
Blade length : 39.5 cm or 15.55 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period to early Edo period.
Shape : Wide and thick Mitsumune Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie
and Chikei work and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome Midare. In Ha, threre are many Ko-Ashi and Kinsuji.
Bosji is round Hakihake Yakisage style.

Special feature : Tsunahiro has moved to Sagami at late Muromachi period
and became active sword smith. This sword smith group has lasted until Shinshinto period.
Especially, Soshu Jyu Tsunahiro was famous for the hitatsura hamon. His broad
and soft feeling pieces were popular among the sword fans.
This blade was made around Tensho era(1573-1593).
This blade is typical Soshu-Den, nice Jigane, Hitatsura Hamon and also healthy.
