The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold single foiled habaki
Blade length : 58cm or 22.83 inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.00 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Weight of only blade: 640g
Era : Edo period Circa Shoho(1645-1648).
Shape : It is O-wakizashi almost the size of katana.
It is strong looking with ample sori.
It is brilliant shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with mixture of masame.
Jinie is well attached.
Chikei is well seen. There is clear jigane.
Hamon : Suguha with some koashi attached. It is bright.
Boushi is round end.

Special feature : Nobuyoshi has lived in Heianjyo
and has engraved some sword with kikumon .
This sword has a back signature Shoho 3rd year lucky day(1646).
