Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.78 cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :item hada well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare koshi hiraki midare.
Special feature : Yokoyama Kozuke Daijyo Fujiwara Sukesada is called
Heibei and a son of the Shichibei.
At late Muromachi period, the river Yoshi flood, Bizen school sword makers were
destructive destruction and also demanding swords were reduced
because war times were end. Yokoyama Kozuke Daijyo Fujiwara Sukesada,
Sichibei sukesada and Yamato daijyo sukesada are working in Edo period by constructed scale.
This sword accompanied with NBTHK tokubetsu Kicyo token but slightly I feel
questionable signature. So we don't guarantee NBTHK Hozon paper at this time.
Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the mokko style iron stub,
a bird is flying and autumn glasses are engraved.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo pleat, clabs are engraved with gold color.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : a dog is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
