This Iga Kami Fujiwara Kinmichi belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
habaki:silver single habaki with waves is engrave.
Blade length : 52.42cm or 20.63 inches.
Sori : 1.21 cm or 0.48 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.96 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.50 cm or 0.59 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with soutabe sori
and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki thick nioikuchi siguha hamon from the Hamachi
and then gunome midare like Doranba style
with thick nioikuchi. Boshi is round shape with thick nioikuchi.
Special feature : Iga no kami Fujiwara Kinmichi was the most famous sword smith in Kyoto.
The founder of Iga no kami Fujiwara Kinmichi started from Bunroku era
(about 1590's) and continued 11th generation.
The first generation was allowed to sign Kikumon (family crest) and
"Nihon Kaji Sosho" in signature by Imperial court.
This blade is 2rd generation and well known sword smith.

Tsuba :on the round shape iron Tsuba, men and landscape are engraved with gols nunome zogan.
Menuki : On the shibuichi plate, god Ebisu and Daikoku are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka:On the brass plate, the scenery of country is engraved with gold, syakudo plate and copper plate.
Kogatana:Bosyu Jyu Kiyoharu.
kogai:Munenaga: on the syakudo plate, family crests are painted on thr syakudo plate.
