This Yari belongs to Jyojo ranking.
The blade is polished.
Blade length : 29.8 cm or 11.7inches
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.51 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 1.10 cm or 0.43 inches.
Era : Early Edo period
Shape : Well balanced triangle Yari.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained, Jinie ad Chikei attached on textured surface.
Hamon : Nie-deki deep Nioikuchi Suguha overlaped Hamon with sofu Ahi. Boshi turnes round.
Special feature: Harima Daijo Fujiwara Shigetaka was active around early Edo period. His style is similar as Mino blade.
Many of his blades are textured strong Jigane with Chikei. Most of them are having Suguha deep Nioikuchi Hamon.
Most of his swords are Tanto or Yari. Katana is rather rare.
This Yari has NBTHK Hozon paper.
(It is difficult to find Yari with NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper.)
