Shape : It is thick Sankaku yari with hi engraved at the back.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Consisted in nie structure, there is nijyuba mixed.
Boshi is round hakikake style.
Special feature : There are many sword smith that are called Shimosaka
and Echizen province was the most famous position.
Later on the school spread out to other province.
This piece is most likely made by sword smith of Echizen province during early Edo period.
The jigane is good and the hamon is clear as well.
It is flawless healthy piece which is unlikely on most Yaris which are frequently seen with flaws.
