Shape : It is long 67.87 cm triangular yari. It is very appealing yari.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with ohada seen.
Hamon : Nie base gunome midair that is hitatsura style.
It is deep nioiguchi with sharp gunome midare mixed.
There are sunagashi, kinsuji seen.
There are many activities especially from monouchi area.
It is in hitatsura style active hamon.
Special feature : Soshuu ju Tsunahiro was successful smith from late Muromachi period.
He was famous smith for Hitatsura style blade.
He may be a son of Hiromasa as Tsunahiro blade has the same
characteristic has his.
On the other hand, he is also said to be the son od Shimada Yoshisuke.
According to Koto Taikan, first generation Tsunahiro has his sir name Yamamura.
He has become a personal swordsmith of Odawara Hokujyo.
While then, he was called by Ujitsuna where he got the letter
綱-tsuna and changed his name to Tsunahiro.
He has made swords from Tenmon 7th year to Hironao.
Soshuu jyuu Tsunahiro has named himself Soshuu Masamune and have forged swords in Kamakura.
There were three generations through Muromachi period and came down until Edo period.
It is hard to estimate but this blade is most likely first generation.
This piece is 67.89cm long yari.
Historical Background: On 1549, Tenmon 11th year,The Portugueses has been washed ashore in Tanegashima
and has tought the gun. Later on, Japanese has made guns by what they tought.
At 1575, Nagashino battle, the guns were a strong weapon for the triumph.
It shows Japanese quality.
